Yesterday Ken and I went to the North Charleston Coliseum to help out with the bicycles The Spokes Group Charleston raised $$ for. 100 total were purchased, assembled, and about to be distributed next week.
We worked with Captain Richmond and his wife. These two people have dedicated their lives to the Salvation Army and its incredible to hear their stories and love for God and people. Each of the bags on the ground represent a child in need. There are roughly 6,000 angels in the Greater Charleston area this Christmas. Absolutely incredible. Although we couldn't reach each of the kids with a bicycle, 100 put a dent in the gifts given and we hope to only grow throughout the years.
thanks for your support this season!! Much love!
