HAKUNA MATATA

I woke up this morning and realized it is September 2, 2013 (Labor Day).  Where in the world did this summer go?  I had the amazing privilege of spending the past couple of weeks with some very special people in my life.  The realization of the summer being over encourages me to Live in the Now more than ever.  To not dwell on the past, to not anticipate the future, just to be.  The present is an amazing thing and it is just what it is.  No sense of worrying about something that is not.  "Hakuna Matata" - how funny that this phrase continues to show up in my life.  1st my visit to Africa and then just a week later when watching the "Lion King" on "Broadway" (In Charlotte).  It's such a perfect phrase for me right now in my life and perhaps the new mantra for the Caldwell Home.
