This summer we had the pleasure of working with the Young President's Organization (YPO) to create a truly memorable family affair. In order to be a part of the YPO Group you had to be under the age of 45 and be a millionaire.
Roughly 450 guests half of which were children attended the week long program.
You can imagine how hectic the parties were.
The first night's party was planned for outdoors. NOW, summer time in the south can guarantee for a rain storm so we went ahead and added this tent over the band.....JUST to have the band move inside when it starts to DOWNPOUR on the dinner. Lovely start to a week!
The 2nd nights party was a Southern Tailgate Theme. This party was supposed to be outdoors but we learned our lesson from the first evening and move it indoors.
Of course we HAD to have jump castles for the kids!
I loved this little nugget. A lot of the guests wore their College Football gear.
The evening felt like a music festival. It started out with a DJ playing music. Between the DJ and the main act (Award Winning Artist Andy Grammer) we had the Burke High school Band perform (see videos below). Following Andy Grammer, Charleston's own Blue Dogs performed to finish off the night.
The 20 person committee unanimously selected the Candy Shop theme along with Lily Pulitzer colors and fabrics for the final night. the dinner tables were covered with white cloth to set off the beautiful pink and green arrangements and two large candy shop displays features a luscious assortment of desserts along with pink and green candy.
